Job Description
There are two key parts to this position. The first is to respond to the increase in demands from our clients for online and remote learning, this position is key to the production of online learning activities to be delivered remotely and to the conversion of client’s materials into asynchronous learning activities and self-study materials. This is achieved through a team-working approach but taking the lead on the technical/instructional design of materials and overseeing the production of all aspects of the materials ensuring they are delivered to a high creative and quality standard to our clients agreed deadlines. This requires a thorough knowledge of the main software and instructional design packages used inhouse.
The second important part of this job, as Head of Communications is to ensure the marketing materials, image and website of the company, weekly Facebook and regular LinkedIn posts are produced, maintained, up to date and fit for purpose. This includes working on templates and tendering documents as well as liaising with our website provider and other team members.
Key Tasks and Duties
1. To plan and implement communications strategies including social media, website, brochures and other promotional and communication events and documents.
2. To provide instructional design consultancy to current and future clients, using Articulate Rise, Storyline, VideoScribe, Mural and other online and remote learning tools.
3. To provide training and pedagogical consultancy and services to the range of The Development Alchemists clients as directed
4. Contribute to the preparation of tenders & proposals
5. Liaise with our website provider to ensure the website is up to date in EN and IT
6. To provide marketing and business development services as required
7. Manage projects as required
8. Contribute to team wide development and marketing activities
9. Carry out any other duties as commensurate with the post and as required
